Workshop on Gender Sensitivity CBSE (Educational Guidance) conducted a workshop on Capacity Building Program on Gender Sensitivity at Laxmi Devi Mundra Public School, on 18/11/2017. The workshop was well conducted attended by 40 staff members of school where they shared out their view on the topic. The resource person Mrs. Karuna Yadav from Kapil Gyanpeeth Jaipur imparted her idea about how to provide appropriate teaching and learning method through sensitive pedagogy. The workshop has certainly described about gender social roles and relations in society. The aim was to sensitize the society about the girl education. Our Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Rajni Agarwal invited the resources person for sharing out the power of women's ability for development of social, economic and political condition.
Today at LDM we celebrated 2nd October 'Gandhi Jayanti' and 'Lal Bahadur Shastri' Jayanti. The great leaders who were the true son of motherland with a great thought of "Simple Living High Thinking". The mission of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan started out on Gandhiji Birthday with the immense love for the country. Making people aware about the cleanliness around the surrounding areas. Our principal Dr. (Mrs.) Rajni Agarwal guided students to be a part of this mission and change the mental set up of the society by keeping the classroom clean.
Educational Tour Two days, educational tour was organized for students of class VIII to XII to take education beyond the classroom boundaries. Students visited Char buja and Ranakpur Temple, Kumbhalgarh and Haldighati the places of historical culture and scientific interest promoting a better understanding of sharing and caring among the students also the tour was thrilling and adventurous. Our principal Dr. (Mrs.) Rajni Agarwal along with teachers and a group of 100 students (Boys / Girls) started out the tour from LDM school campus students were guided about these historical places and its event. The management members appreciate such educational tour which makes historic culture.
Short Act on Earth Day At LDM the students celebrated the Earth Day where they presented short act giving the information of how we can save our earth from getting polluted. Through this act they passed the message, to grow more trees so that we can have a clean and green environment. Students from primary section presented poem on "Earth Saving". Our Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Rajni Agarwal advice children about how we can keep our environment clean and safe to get clean Oxygen. Oath was taken where the students promised to grow more trees and keep the environment clean. The management members of Shri Mahalaxmi Shikshan Sansthan President Shri Nand Kishore Ji Shah, Vice President Shri Kailash Ji Jajoo, Hony. Secretary Shri Satyanarayan Bhatter, Joint Secretary Shri Ashok Ji Lohiya, Treasurer Shri Ramesh Ji Lohiya also shared their views about how we should make up our mind and take a pledge to gift a pollution free environment to our coming generation.
January 24 is a special day, at least for the 614.4 million population of India — the female population. It is National Girl Child Day which India has been observing since 2008. The message behind this is – protect the girl child. Children celebrated this day at school premises by performing skit , making posters etc on Save Girl Child to increase awareness level among all.
